I have begun learning ruby and so far I’m enjoying the simplicity very much. Earlier today I was in the library reading about ‘ruby on rails’ created by David Heinemeiner Hansson, and found the premise very interesting. Mainly because I have been using ORMs in ASP.net which allowed me to create applications with access to large databases quickly. MVC code abstraction which enables you to adhere to the DRY principle.

I have decided to increase my ruby efforts in favor of PHP even though most of the job I see involve PHP developers. I am unsure if this is the wise choice. I really like ruby but on the other hand it seems there is much more work for a PHP programmer.
